Ethics Team Work
Ethics at work
The theme of well-being in the working environment can be observed from a particular point of view, stemming from which well-being itself is recognizable as the result of interaction between the characteristics of the individual and those of the working context. In other words, contrary to the assumption according to which well-being in the workplace depends exclusively on external conditions in terms of the working and organizational environment within which the individual operates (Burke, 1993; Guest, 2002; Lawson, Noblet, & Rodwell, 2009), the point of view referred to suggests that individual characteristics can play an active part in the development of well-being.
Exploring the views of the authors who have dealt with well-being as a result of the interaction between subjective factors and characteristics of the workplace, it is possible to recognize a common root in interactional theories, which considers a person–organization fit as being crucial in generating well-being (Alvesson & Willmott, 2002; Cable & Judge, 1996; Mininni, Manuti, Scardigno, & Rubino, 2010), and three main aspects of study in which this general approach has declined: the study of job satisfaction, positive emotions, and relational interaction.

Lawsuits
discrimination suit
An Ohio high school teacher who claims to have a phobia of young children is suing a school district for discrimination.
Maria C. Waltherr-Willard, 61, of Greenhills, is suing the Mariemont school district, where she worked for 35 years, saying it discriminated against her when it reassigned her in 2010 from its high school to its junior high and then pressured her to resign, the Cincinnati Enquirer reported.
According to the paper, the suit is a discrimination claim based on her age and disability -- a rare phobia called pedophobia, an extreme fear or anxiety around young children. Waltherr-Willard’s suit claims she has suffered from the condition since the 1990s.
Waltherr-Willard, who teaches Spanish and French, experiences stress, anxiety, chest pains, vomiting, nightmares and higher than healthy blood pressure when she’s around young children, according to documents filed by medical professionals, the Enquirer reported.
Last week, a federal judge dismissed three of the six claims in her lawsuit, claims which alleged the school district violated an implied contract to keep her from young students.

How Employees With Poor Attendance Affect the Workplace
by George N. Root III, Demand Media
Habitually absent employees become a burden on the company and the rest of the staff. They are a financial burden because of the drop in productivity their absence causes and the cost of bringing in a temporary replacement, and the extra work handed to other staff members can impact morale. Understanding how employees with poor attendance affect the workplace will encourage you to develop and enforce strict guidelines.

WE#4-Communication
Communication is so very necessary between each other. That's in all areas of life, home, work, relationships. Without communication any and all aspects of stability would go out the window. We need to communicate with one another in order to accomplish as well as complete any task or job before us.We not only have to communicate with each other to do our work, but without it we as mere as cave men or the people of Babel, we'd be scattered and nothing would get accomplished. So in keeping the lines of communication open, things can happen.

Work ethics and attendance rather go hand in hand, one enhances the other. So to say coming in to work on time but without any ethics about yourself, defeats the other. These are two important characteristics that make a good work environment.

Attendance
The importance of attending classes is without a doubt one of the important phases of the course. It also imposes responsibility to and on the student. Leaving you with accountability and no one responsible but yourself. It trains you for work and being on time, because as stated in the syllabus, showing up on time and not missing days is just like being on a job. It also brings to light the importance of what you’re doing as well. Because if what you’re doing is important to you, you’ll put your best foot forward and give it your best shot.
